Individual and Team Assessment and Development

Standard behavioural assessment tools help determine the way people behave. It is significantly more beneficial to understand why people behave the way that they do and not merely how they behave.

BIAMIC uses the Hartman Value Profile to determine the Thinking profile or "Process of Valuing" to demonstrate the reasons why people behave the way that they do. Since it is very difficult to change learned bahaviours, attempting change by merely knowing the behavioural type has limited value. Changes made with this knowledge result in temporary adaptation, but when things get tough we "reboot" and re-establish our Defaul settings. The challenge then is ... Can you alter the Default settings?

By knowing what people value it is then possible to understand their:

    strengths
    weaknesses
    what they value
    what they need to succeed
    what is important
    is the person being used effectively
While knowing this information about the individuals in the team, the assessment of these proofiles and relating them to each other allows the determination of the team dynamics and shows the effectiveness of the team, where conflict lies, where strengths lie, are people content, is the team made oup of achievers or consistent plodders, etc. With this information the team effectiveness can be determined and then changes can be effected to enhance the productivity and profitability of the team.
